The Brief
The brief for this university project was to create the branding and some extra design assets for a charitable organisation that aims to support the hospitality industry in creating awareness around the global epidemic of human trafficking. The charity supports hotels and hostels in the training of their staff to recognise signs of human trafficking within their place of work.
My Solution
For this brand I wanted to use contemporary and simple design to portray a much deeper issue which hotels and people both fall victim to. I did this by using the overlapping of shapes to show two different meanings.
Firstly, the overlapping represents how many hotels struggle with, and have human trafficking happening within them. Secondly, the dark areas created through the overlapping, represent the dark secrets that are hidden from the public and staff in regards to human trafficking within the hospitality industry.
